These images were taken in the old Weston Scouthall in Weston Village, Runcorn. This building was cheap (my mum was secretary of the 1st Weston and Weston Point Scouts), large and fun to play in. See the bio page for info on my two partners in crime! These shots all date from the mid to late 80's....
Strat and Goffy used to get very hungry during practice
They used to get a bit bored as well - I suppose this is our answer to the Genesis "...And then there were 3.." cover.
Goffy on guitar... in this case it was an Ibanez in a sort of Gibson Explorer shape... and I think it was on loan from Ian Wadcock....

Goffy as master of proceedings - looking a bit Jimmy Page.....
Early days behind the Supreme..... sleeveless shirts were the order of the day..... apart from in Winter when we had to play dressed as the Heroes of Telemark.....
Me on the drums. This is my customized M&M finish on the old Premier/Supreme. This very old picture was originally the front of my site.

The low angle and moody lighting of this shot emphasizes the ludicrous depth of the Supreme toms - check out the logos all over the drums, predating Neil Peart's Logo kit by 20 years! Such a trendsetter I am.
Goffy in Full Flight with Rob's Prescision Bass...
Rob on the Bass....
Goffy tunes up - this was long before Analogue Synths became big again - at the time, everyone else was using Yamaha DX7's. Here is Goffy with his beloved Roland Jupiter 4 and Roland SH101.....
Goffy with his big old Roland again - before he got his keyboard stand - he used to just plonk it on top of the amp.....
I take a back seat behind the camera for a while - Rob was actually a bassist but also quite good on the drums, Goffy was a keyboardist who could also play bass and guitar.... (this shot also gives a better view of the Ibanez)...
.....in fact the only instrument that Goffy had problems with was the drums...... but he made up for this by being able to use a BOSS Dr Rhythm drum machine.....
With all this mayhem going on, it is strange that I found time to take a still life of Rob's Boss Turbo Overdrive pedal - we were quite well equipped......
