Canada Holiday 2004 - Central Toronto Tourist Sites

We had to do the Lonely Planet thing and go armed with camera and map around the various sites of Toronto. Wearing a camera and a Rush shirt is not the best way to not look like tourists....

Even when you are not facing it, the CN Tower totally dominates the city skyline - being a great help when you inevitably get lost. For the record, Emma would like me to point out that this photo was her idea..... but I took it.... for the record.

The real thing - quite a sight no matter where you look at it from. Built in 1974 it is estimated that it will still be standing in 2274.

Toronto from the top of the CN Tower....

Emma on the famous glass floor - it is a very bad idea indeed to look down....

As pictured from the roof mounted tourist cam - I walked on and off the glass floor facing this way.....

Imagine that feeling you get when you drive over a hump back bridge really quick - then multiply it by a bit and add a cold sweat.

Me on the observation deck....

Roy Thompson Hall - top concert venue - and Dan has played there as well.....

Me hiding amongst the art. I don't know what it is but I like it.

This photo does not do this beast justice - we took one just like it to Missisuaga outside of Toronto (home of Dan). This is one of the massive trains sat idling in Union Station. Another thing - it was running on time - how do they do that?

We may have been on holiday but we still needed our Starbucks - Emma in Yonge & College Starbucks

Inside the Eaton Centre - if you have been to the Trafford Centre and was impressed by that then you really have to see this place.....
