Chester Zoo, October 2006

At the end of June, myself and Emma took my 'ickle Irish nieces, Dervla and Orla, and my 'ickle nephew, George to see the amials at Chester Zoo.

The elephants mark the beginning of things...

The baby elephant is about to have a nasty fall in the drink!

Dervla, Orla and George on a big brass 'elly.....

They were instructed to look scared on the back of this brass Komodo Dragon - I think they look only a little scared.

On this one, Emma told them to look like mean pirates.

Dervla does not look at all bothered that her feet won't reach the pedals. Can't see what use the Lee Enfield is on the side of a jeep.

Camping out.

A bloody great giraffe.

Amongst all of these mad animals, a humble duck.

The inevitable face painting - Orla as butterfly, Dervla as flamingo and George as bat.
