Arizona Bay Special Guest Cole Marcus

Cole has been in the little guest gallery for so long that I had amassed enough pictures and e-mails from his mum that I decided that it was time to give him his own gallery! He is from California and the son of two musicians who are well pleased that he is a chip off the old block..... and he is only a youn 'un!

Cole Marcus - The Amazing Four Year Old Drummer - I feel a bit ashamed as I did not start drumming until I was in my mid-teens - so Cole will have had nearly ten years learning on me by the time he reaches his mid teens - so all of the difficult stuff will be second nature for him. Here Cole can be seen at the NAMM Show (music industry shin-dig) in the USA. The lucky young chap is playing a replica of John Bonham's Orange Vistalite kit - just look at that matched grip! Now there is a lad with style!

Here is cole with top session drummer (and Mapex endorsee as well), Greg Bisonette - whom I have met (well, not quite. As I was about to speak to him at Birmingham Drumfest in July 2003 he walked off with some industry suits and that was the end of that - but I consoled myself with the fact that I got to meet Zoro the same day).
