The Distant Past
When I was getting some pics together, I found these pix from the very distant past - they all seem to follow the head appearing above toys theme - I just thought they were good fun.....
Very far back in the past... Weebles take over the wall in Perrin Avenue....not wobbling or falling down in this case - how did my mum persuade me that this shirt looked good?
Star Wars - I would estimate this photo was about 1981 judging by the cast of Empire Strikes Back being here - I could pay off a fair chunk of my car if I still had this little lot!
Action Men on maneuvers in the garden - 1970's. Sue, my sister, always managed to sneak into shot (peeking out at left) - it was as if she could smell the camera...... Iraqi Republican Guard obviously scared half to death at the site of these hardened veterans!
Action Men - Christmas Day sometime in the 1970's - when Action Men became old, the only way you could get them to stand up was to get them to look very camp indeed.....
Action Men - again sometime in the 1970's! This jeep also came complete with a bazooka that fired the crayons that my sister had got for x-mas!
The Action Man shot updated for December 2003 - I have no idea what the green bone in the middle is doing there (Boomer left it there)...... it seems that the new action man is designed to look like Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet.....
A gaggle of Action Men and friends (as well as an interloper from Animal House), May 2004.
