Rush Eucon 2005 - Rush Idol
This was my third Rush Convention and on previous occasions I have signed up to play Freewill (badly). This time I must have bumped my head or something as I signed up for three tracks - The Trees (how difficult?), Freewill (my usual) and Working Man (great fun!). Everyone else had a go too and as usual it was the best part of any Eucon......
Zed & Wullie agonising over the sign-up sheets.....
Stewart warming up.....
Launching into the first heat!
Zed using the 2112 kit (how kind of them!).....
Hazy (already on the site in the guests gallery) - playing on the 2112 Overture.....
Gusieppe & Friend on 2112 duty......
Terr Berr on the first of her two performances of Between The Wheels...
Returning with Hazy's mob..... Limelight.
Working Man - thanks to Hazy for taking this pic for me (I was a bit busy behind the drums)....
Wullie providing bass for Working Man - thanks again to Hazy for taking the pic....
Uploaded from TNMS - me during our pretty loose freeform-jazz-expolration performance of Working man....
Me and the guys.... on this pic I am choking the crash cymbal for that famous Dah-Dah-Dah-Dah-Dah bit from Working Man..... pic sent to me by Jim Annison - thanks!
They may be the stick with the groove - now they are also the stick with the wounds! Perhaps I should hold back a little?
