Wales Holiday - May 2007 - Around Broadhaven

When I was but a lad, I spent just about every holiday in the Pembroke part of South West Wales. Despite some of these hols being miserable and about as much fun as snogging crocodiles (some of these holidays were in the "camping years" in the 1970's and not at all fun), I thought that it would be nice to come back to use all of my owed time in May 2007. We stayed in the Broadhaven area (near Haverford West) and these photos were all taken in this area.....

Our glorious static caravan at Broadhaven Holiday Park - in fact we had the park mostly to ourselves.....

Emma laden with our beach stuff......

Broadhaven beach - at sunset.

My luverly missus on Broadhaven Beach.

Me getting seriously creative with the camera - reflected in Emma's bins at Broadhaven.

Me strolling on the beach at low tide.....

At high tide, the rocks to the north of the beach attract  people intent on climbing and diving on and off them.....nutters.....

Broadhaven at low tide, as viewed from the afore mentioned rocks...

Sunset at Broadhaven.....

Mum and Dad (and George Junior with Boomer dog) turn up - here is Dad at the park play area....

George Junior and some new real estate on the beach....

Boomer dog at Broadhaven.....

Inevitable game of Triv....

All been a bit too much for Boomer.......

Nice view from just up the coast from Broadhaven.....

Further up the coast again is St David's - the smallest City....

Me and the missus back in the 'van.....
