YYZ Live @ Crewe Limelight February 2005

This marked the third time I have seen YYZ strut their stuff (more correctly strut Rush stuff) and the time I was most impressed with them. It marked the new drum set up adopted by tufty and the reintroduction of Camera Eye, La Villa Strangiato and Xanadu back into the set.

Tufty, like myself, has adopted the current NP drum set up. The old concert toms have been retained but have now been replaced with Tama mini timbales. Also there is a bit more in the way of electronics - a Roland pad here and there and an Octopad.

Hidden behind his brace of Korgs, vocalist and keyboardist, Gary.

Tufty caught mid solo - this time coming after Bravado as a stand alone solo and not incorporated into YYZ as you would expect.

An attempt to capture Paul H in a Moving Pictures Inlay moment - I have included the original so you can have an idea of what I was trying to capture - well.............. at least the Fender Jazz is correct!

Paul in a more conventional picture - he really likes his Fender Jazz as he used it most of the night!

Simon with conventional guitar......

.... and the progressive rock Holy Grail - the twin necked Gibson!

The twin neck means but one thing...... Xanadu is back!
